Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe Stables hosted a post funeral gathering yesterday for my late mother in law. There were at least 50 guests. The buffet food was plentiful, varied and well cooked and it kept coming great value for money. Our guests loved it. The staff behind the bar especially Darren were polite friendly and really hard working. We were delighted with the Stables and it’s staff and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as a venue for a function. Thankyou.
Here for lunch with two friends and found a pretty good burger. the stables pub is located in the middle of the danson park in bexleyheath. the park is on an old estate with a large farmhouse and lake. the large stall building was eventually rebuilt, I don't know when, in a pub restaurant. the building itself is beautiful, class 2 listed and built in the 1700s. it is also a great place to come when they have a family, as there is an impressive modern playground close by, with sprinkler to walk under the hot weather and lots of space for the children. I ordered the emmental and bacon rindfleischburger with fritten while my friends had a chicken burger and a grilled chicken breast with chorizo and smoked specksalat. I found the burger a considerable 7oz and a good, tasty mint. the Brioche-Hunge was beautifully partially soaked and it came with a small pot tomaten and jalapeno relish. the melted cheese was very delicious and thick with a large plate of bark tomato. really nice! they were not great. they seemed overcooked, a bit too dark and hard, and although that was not so hot. you can get sweet potato fryers with your meal, like one of my well-known did, and they seemed a bit better. but overall not enough attention to the chips. the chicken burger of my friend was in order and the chicken salad was well received and well looked out with roasted thick cut, rustic brot on the side, lots of fresh green and a generous partly grilled chicken. the stables is in a really beautiful location, and it is especially good in the beer garden at the front on a sunny day. I give them high marks for their cattle burger and the cost are also reasonable, about £10-£12 per head, depending on what they drink. See if you didn't.
We hosted our high-time reception in danson stables in november and had a great time. we had the complete menu for us if we want, but the decision made to choose 4 starters, 4 net and 4 desserts for guests. not many people have burger or fish and chips on their high time map, but we love to be different. all our guests were extremely free from eating on offer and serving were very generous, so all very happy. with 45 guests we had simply enough space for everyone and even had a make shift floor. he used the loudspeaker system was free to have music and we had both confetti and sparkles in the parking lot. Intimate high times can still be fantastic. check our blogs on our website to see how I managed to host our high time for £3500.
This park is Lovely! There is a big green area to walk through as well as some trails. The playground is really nice an it has aquatoys in it. For the ones who wants to spend the day, you can find nice meals and beer on the Pub which is inside the park. The lake is beautiful and my favourite part was the old English garden, just beautiful!
Tasty steak , chicken , linguine cocktails served in a clean environment by friendly staff . Though ran out of beef pie. Need to hang on be steady while climbing up the steep stairs for relief! Parking available located in a beautiful garden park setting .
