Montana's Rib Chop House - Billings

Rib and Chop did it again!!!! I must admit the appetizers were sub par tonight HOWEVER.... THE STEAK WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!! OUT OF THIS WORLD! I got the fillet and my wife got the baseball cut. My wife had multiple mango margaritas and they were delicious! They definitely did the trick! We love coming here. Can't wait to come back again!!!

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ate was top notch and our server Nate was great. He was very personable and attentive which I appreciate when going out to eat. Kid-friendliness: Every table comes with crayons so you can draw on it

Invited by friends for Lunch. I was expecting more from an “upscale rib and chop house”. Ended up spending over 2 hours in the restaurant. Slow service, though the server was very nice. Had to ask for sugar three times for my coffee. We started by ordering an appetizer and a fruit plate for their young children first. 10-15 minutes later our waiter took our entree orders. In the end appetizer didn’t get served until after the entrees were being served and the fruit plate was the last to come out. I ended up getting the wrong platter—switched with someone next to me and we didn’t notice until we had already started eating. I ended up paying more for what I ordered vs what I received. The waiter found out in the end, but said, “Well, as long as you’re happy me, that’s fine.” He didn’t offer to make it right. The platter I did receive had REALLY overcooked hash browns at the bottom against the cast iron (and I usually like crispy hash browns). We asked for a large to go box, but the waiter said he could only offer really small styrofoam boxes saying “that’s all they will let me give out”. We ended up needing three. All in all, a VERY poor experience at The Rib and Chop House for us.

Wonderful meal, service, and atmosphere! The wait staff was very attentive too. The 6 oz filet was so tender, bison chili was very tasty, and yummy sautéed spinach . One of the best meals I have had in years!
