Dos Rios Cantina - Binghamton

It’s my favorite spot in Binghamton! Food is always delicious and servers are always attentive. They were out of many items behind the bar which I’ve noticed has happened in the past.

Service a little slow. Ordered meals and drinks. Got drinks quickly. A longer wait for food. Issue was from when we got our drinks, and until the food was ready, we didn't see our server. Needed refills on drinks, and finally had to ask another server passing by.

This is not a review of Dos Rios that I cannot give because the restaurant was CLOSED!! Not only for the night, but for months before. The fact that Open Table still had it on its website is shameful and ridiculous. We stayed in the city for the conclusion of my son and booked a reservation in Dos Rios . Reservations were hard to get for this night, and we stayed without reservation. Fortunately, my son knew about another Mexican place near Hacienda, who had great food. If you are thinking about using Open Table to make a reservation in Dos Rios, call the restaurant first to see if they are actually open, you cannot depend on Open Table as I found out.

Booked weeks in advance. Came out of town for the night to find out that the restaurant was closed on a Friday night. No notes on the door explaining why, no calls to let us know that they must cancel the reservation. Would have been nice to know before we made the nights that it would be closed.
