Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis place was a surprise. Red Pearl in Homewood is my standard for getting to the Chinese restaurant. But decided to try Great Wall Chinese Restaurant; I have heard good reviews on authentic food for some time. It wasn't disappointed. We tried garlic chicken, juicy dumplings and cook special flaming pan chicken with vegetables. They were all super good, taste was authentic and serving was generous. Pricewise, I felt it was tad bit prize winner compared to other Chinese restaurant around it. On the positive side they offer good authentic food, many seating, minimal waiting time and fast service, plentiful parking, centrally located, late to 10 o'clock open. Will definitely be back for some dan dan noodle.
My wife and I ate here leaving Birmingham and this place restored my faith in the AL Culinary Scene. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. We will be eating here every time we come to Birmingham. The braised pork belly practically melted in my mouth.
This place is absolutely beautiful. The sesame chicken is so fluffy. I also have the Mongolian beef which had a little more onions than beef, the ratio wasn't great. The taste was excellent. I definitely will be coming back
Visited on a weekday.. The place isn't crowded and the ambiance is really nice.. If you're looking for an authentic chinese restaurant, this is the place to go. We ordered their lunch special sweet and sour shrimp and chicken with rice, chicken flaming pan with rice, steamed shrimp dumplings (1 order is 6pcs. and combo fried rice. Bill ended with $52.18 plus tip.. I was actually looking for siomai and sesame balls, but isn't available here.. but will keep on looking for a chinese restaurant that has it. Recommended for a visit.
