Metro Diner - Birmingham

Idk WHO was in the kitchen today but I ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes, two egg breakfast with hash browns and toast and my daughter ordered the western omelet. EVERYTHING was perfect. Nothing was burned or overcooked. This was probably the best we've had since going there. And Lona, our server was awesome. She took really good care of us. Today was 10/10 on service and food. Awesome job!

As always, the food was amazing. This was our first time at this particular location and we chose to sit outside. The hostess turned the fans on for us and the shade was down so it was really nice out there and no bugs. I had chicken(half) waffles with strawberry butter you can get it with tenders if you'd like. My husband had a Philly Cheese steak and he said it was really good. The portions are out of this world big especially for such a good price. My son had the breakfast burger and it looked great! I didn't take pictures because we were starving and people just started eating but I did manage to get a picture of the mimosas. All in all, a great family experience, with great food and even better service.

Food and service was great. Friendly and fast. We had the fish fry (Friday special). Fantastic! Our daughter ordered the blueberry and lemon Belgium waffle, and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

My Husband and I love eating breakfast at Metro Diner! The service is great! The food is delicious! When we step in the door they makes us feel welcome! And we love waitress B

Our server was Brynle. She was sweet and accommodating. The food came out quickly and was extremely delicious. I highly recommend the bone-in chicken and waffles and/ or the croissant French toast.
