Brilliant traditional alcohol only a short season from the bridge above castle of the peasant to the back of the ICC and library. A credit to the Black Land Brewery in its restoration. Good selection of cobs and beer not only BBC brewery served by beautiful staff

A great small pub with a wide selection of real (cask) ales. We've been there before, and we'll go again. Sometimes it is packed ram, depending on what is on the REP etc. Keep the good service

What a jewel of a pub in town. No Frills or fantasies, but good choice of genuine ales, real pubs in offer and great staff. It is a pub with the good old-fashioned feeling, but well maintained and friendly. Who would have thought it near Broad Street.

Great pub. Great beers and apple wines. Impressed that my daughter was asked for ID as she looked under 25. Will definitely be back for more fabulous cedar and traditional ale.

Lovely pub. So relaxed and great service. Clean and welcoming. Great place to have a drink before going to Symphony Hall or Broad Street.
