Szechuan House - Birmingham

I ordered Chicken Chow Mein for delivery, but received chicken chop suey instead. When I called to inform them of the mistake, they insisted that it was indeed chow mein. However, it was definitely not.

Szechuan House on Hagley Road in Halesowen serves fantastic king prawn satay with special fried rice. This Michelin-starred restaurant treated me like royalty and the food was first-class. Excellent experience!

The food was delicious and fresh, but it took about 45 minutes to be served. The only problem was that the chips were a bit undercooked.

I have been using this place for over 10 years now. I have never had a bad meal ever. The salt and pepper ribs are to die for.

We order from here nearly every friday it is by far the best takeaway in Hall green/Billesley area. We have on odd occasion ordered elsewhere but found food not up to same standard. Delivery always on time food hot fresh.
