Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe wife and I were on a wine tour and this was the winery we were told to meet our tour group at. We arrived early and had lunch here at the restaurant. It was raining outside when we got there so the patio over looking the vineyard wasn't open, so we sat inside and the food was really good. My wife had a salad and said it was very good, the lettuce tasted like it was freshly picked. I had the soup of the day which was a creamy potato soup and it was delicious. Hit the spot on a damp day. Service was friendly and we had some sort of chocolate dessert, and the presentation was very nice and it was tasty. Prices were reasonable and they serve open face sandwiches along with the soups and salads, at least for the lunch menu that we saw.
We were here last week planning to visit the Oeno Gallery (which is well worth the stop). However, the restaurant and patio were really disappointing. First of all, the service is very slow. Slow to get seated, slow to get water, slow to take drink orders, slow to take lunch orders and slow with the meals. If the food was good it would be worth it. The soup appetizer was bland and could use more spice. The sandwiches, well I could make better at home. Keep driving for lunch, there are other lovely places in Prince Edward County that have good food, good service and equally good or better views.
We stopped for a wine tasting and it was great. We bought some wonderful Reislings and stayed for lunch. The lunch menu is excellent; Ths service was great and the food was delicious. We will go back for sure.
Several of us ladies enjoyed a light lunch in the lovely restaurant that overlooks one of the vineyards. The charcuterie and cheese platters were perfect. Delicious chutney. Friendly service.
We cycled to Huff's for lunch and managed to get a shaded table on their outdoor patio. Very pleasant although a bit pricey for a small lunch.
