Mattie's - Blountstown

The food was truly outstanding—everything from the roast beef to the cabbage, rice with brown gravy, scalloped potatoes, fried cornbread, peach cobbler, and some classic sweet tea was a treat. It was the epitome of homemade country cooking. Our server was exceptionally attentive; even though it was near closing time, she made sure we had everything we needed. I will certainly return to enjoy this place many more times. I just wish there were more restaurants like this in the area!

We ordered salmon patties and hamburger steaks. The hamburger steaks were served with a side of soup, but the soup tasted stale, as if it had been left out for a couple of days. The hamburger steaks were quite dry, and the salmon patties were bland, mostly tasting like bread. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The service was good, but the portion sizes were small, and the prices were somewhat high.

They have great Hamburgers an sweet tea. Staff was wonderful.

Paid $10 for a philly Cheesesteak waited 30 mins on it and when it got to my table they gave me philly meatloaf and tried to tell me that it was just ground beef never have I or ever heard of this it was horrible worst $30 of my life
