Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis was a decent Thai spot. The service was great, but the food was mediocre. The best part of the meal was the Tom Kha soup, which is the only dish I would come back for. The pad Thai was way too sweet and saucey. The spring rolls and the potstickers were generic. I would try other Thai spots before coming back to this one.
We found the food in this place disappointing. Definitely, not worth the price we paid for dinner. The staff is welcoming and friendly. It is a clean casual restaurant. The other thing good I can say about the place is that the canned soda is $1.50. The coconut shrimp appetizer was good. Though the farm raised shrimp were kind of small for $8.95. The Tom Yum soup was a bit spicy but tasted ok. My friend had the Chicken Pad Thai which was below average. It was not bursting with authentic Thai flavors and was not well prepared. I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp was horrible. I noticed it in the very first bite. I really should have sent it back. It was mushy, chicken and shrimp were overcooked, and the seasoning tasted really horrible. There were maybe 2 or 3 small chunks of pineapple in the whole dish. It was the worst fried rice I have ever had in my life. I had a serious upset stomach to put it politely 5 minutes after I left the restaurant. .
I was disappointed to find that this restaurant was not busy on a Saturday night. They are following COVID guidelines for safety. The spicy salad was incredibly tasty and full of flavor, especially when paired with squid. I highly recommend it! The crispy duck was also incredibly juicy and delicious. It comes with a side of rice, though you may not even need it given the generous amount of veggies and duck you receive. Overall, it was a delightful experience. Thank you.
Interior was a dive, staff is nice, food is average. Chicken dumplings were good and spring rolls average. Best thing there was the tom ka soup. Pad Thai was a deal breaker. Way too sweet. They said that's what their known for was their sweet style pad Thai. To each their own. It was just so much sugar.. I would come back for a carry out of their soup or perhaps try their curry. Prices are very fair.
We ordered take out for the first time and it was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The spicy chicken was delicious . It's not really spicy so don't be scared by the name. Perfect amount of breading. Veggies were fresh, staff friendly . Would go again .
