Begopa Korean Food - Bochum

We were four in Begopa on Friday night. We had various appetizers and main dishes (fish, meat and vegetarians) and were all super enthusiastic. The dishes are authentic and super delicious. The dishes described as sharp had a good but still edible sharpness and also the other dishes were deliciously flavored. The service is friendly and fast and the prices are reasonable. Only the atmosphere in the restaurant is sober. But you can also look at the delicious food.

It was delicious, but not as unusual as it was hoped. Maybe we should have informed ourselves about the typical national dishes. The owner served himself and extremely friendly. We would have ordered more drinks if we had seen him more often. Nice attention: four bowls were served with all kinds of Korean salads. That was nice.

Very delicious food and very friendly service. The menu has a good, compact selection. Note for the restaurant: For my feeling, the furnishings and lighting were very bright and seemed somewhat cold. Maybe you can do something?

I find the Begopa really nice and delicious. The SERVICE should be. Very nice, but not intrusive. The food came very fast, the drinks came almost directly with the appetizers. AMBIENTE is more like a living room or kitchen with friends. It can't be anything for a romantic dinner. If someone else wants to eat something with girlfriend, family or friends, it won't bother him. The ESSEN was really good. It was only the second time that I was Korean food and I was thrilled for the second time. Everything tastes very fresh and you get vegetarian, seafood and meat dishes. Our appetizers also contain 4 small beer bowls, which I found very beautiful.

To date, I have been at least 8 times in this restaurant and have never been disappointed. 6 different main dishes I tried in time, and all were excellent. Since I was already in South Korea two times, I say that the food really corresponds to the food in Korea. However, in Korea the Makgeolli is served in sheet metal boilers, and not in plastisk bottles. There is no single food I could recommend, all are very tasty. I love trying something new again and again. And it's worth it! Although I'm a meat eater, I have to find that I really don't have anything to do with vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is very bright, some people may find it a bit uncomfortable or cold. But the food makes it a warm to hot around the heart. Because if a dish is marked as sharp, it is also sharp. In the meantime, no longer as sharp as in Korea itself, but very impressive for German taste. And in all this, the prices for meals are very favourable at what is offered qualitatively and quantitatively. However, Korean drinks, such as mackerel (alcoholic drink of rice with 6 alcohol) are quite expensive, but it is worth trying.
