Avaliação da contribuiçãoA delicious seafood café with casual indoor and outdoor seating, a range of fish and ice cream. Fish and chips were hot and crisp, perfectly fried. Chowder was delicious and perfect thickness.
Clam Chowder is super good. Raw oysters have a special sauce like Vietnamese fish sauce that brings me back to Houston. Fish Tacos were huge and Aioli make it extra unique. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
What is better to get away from the heat wave in sf and plan a day trip to Bodega. The day of work was well spent here had a nice time here enjoyed the day and was led to these restaurants by some nice locals. We were lucky to find parking in their property, it is not very much, but will easily be space for 15 cars perhaps? It also has space for disabled people. We ordered both fish and chips I took, and my husband took the halibut. We also ordered grilled oysters with bacon butter. There?s seating area outside and inside, there are many options of drinks lemonades and sandwiches and they have an amazing crabs nachos . I wanted to order it this way. I saw someone eat it and I was so jealous? Fish and chips were tasty, but they took a while for the grilled oysters, my husband had to remind them why they lost a star? The oysters are all right, I wouldn't. They are not like the Tamales Bay oysters (sweet version) they have more sea taste and texture. But otherwise I had a nice time here.
The hotel is located on the street leading to Bodega hiking, fantastic place to enjoy fresh seafood! Small parking, outdoor and indoor seating. Place your order, then a server will drop your food. I recommend her grilled oysters Kilpatrick: half dozed, drilled oysters with worchestershire and bacon. We also tried their oysters on the half shell, paired with their vinegar sauce- amazing! You make an incredible New England Clam Chowder and Portuguese seafood stew! The fish Tacos come with the choice of fresh salmon or Halibut (both caught by the boat)!. Dungeness crab salad: generous portions of freshly peeled Dungeness crab over salad with oil and vinegar dressing.
I came to try the clam chowder but ended up having some of the best Miyagi oysters ever! The clam chowder was fine, really loved the garlic bread that came with it. I went at 1:30 which seems to be when the lunch rush was dying down. The other reviews are right about the wait for the restroom it is quite a delay.
