This place says it 's open. You can 't find it. Then when you do (it 's in a basement) all the basement doors are locked. So weird and creepy and we are mad that we drove into town and paid for parking only to wander around in 102° looking for something that doesn 't seem to exist. Now I see why it 's called 'underground '
Unassuming is an understatement in describing our experience at BB's Underground. We enjoyed a Friday lunch and were seated around 12:45. Only one other customer up until a table of four came in at the end of our meal. While the surroundings are sparse, the food was terrific. Wife had the pulled pork and I had the best brisket sandwich ever. The fries were great as was the coleslaw. Not only will we be back, but will certainly use them for catering.
Drove all the way downtown, from west Meridian, for dinner. Only to find a sign, on the door, indicating they would be closed for several days. If you're not open for business, update your web page to indicate that.
Went there for lunch. Walked in and seated ourselves with other patrons. Waited upwards of 15 minutes to be greeted by the hostess or server. Looked around at the other patrons who all had drinks or water, but no food. A few moments later the decision was made to move to another eating establishment. Won't be back.
