Avaliação da contribuição...you sometimes find a little treasure! And we found it two years ago in Boitzenburg and in summer 2016. On this day we had escaped from the crowded Marstall at the Boitzenburg Castle and had discovered the beautiful courtyard of the inn. This is not so easy, because the building lying between the street and the farm is the only unrenovated part of the building ensemble and offers a rather trivial view. Even if you sit in the courtyard, it looks quite unusual. The other buildings surrounding the courtyard are, however, renovated and offer the inn a very nice home. An event area for festivities used in between as a shop for regional products, then an area with guest rooms, on whose right I could not photograph, as well as the courtyard itself for which it was too well visited. But in the gallery there are pictures of me from 2016 that show this area. For August 17th we had no place in a restaurant but wanted to spontaneously decide where to go. The third attempt to book a table by phone for the evening then succeeded, and we drove almost 13 kilometers from Fürstenhagen to Boitzenburg by car. At 7 pm we were there and placed the car in the parking lot in front of the entrance of the inn. The sun was gentle, perfect weather for the farm from the green tree, correspondingly good the area was filled. Now that we had reserved, the Supersummer 2018 had made the number of guests high throughout the MSE and UM area. The cards were handed over, we ordered water, Limo and Pils, then we saw in the offer of the kitchen of the inn. There are burgers in various variations, flame cake, supplements, quiches, a bit for before or between and desserts. However, the most important in the map is A, B and C. A, B and C combined provides a main meal. Grobly, you can say A are vegetable supplements, B are satisfactory supplements and C are the main components on the plate of the main dish. On the HP you can see the map, each part has 4 to 6 choices. We were recommended by an appetizer that A,B and C were too extensive. Thus, directly A, B and C are tipped into the tablets of the operation and we waited what should come to us at the table. In the meantime, a small kitchen of fried egg salad tasted with a good sourdough bread, tasted good, even my wife and excited childhood memories because that could have been from my grandmother. The whole thing then remembered some Spanish tapas, on the table were served 6 plates with the components we selected, the two A are the following. A1 summer vegetables from the oven with tomatoes and pumpkin seeds A2 baked fennel with sheep cheese, tomatoes and olives. Both vegetables were able to convince extremely that was delicious vegetarian cuisine that was very delicious. Especially the fennel was prepared in a new way that is copied in my kitchen. The following saturation components were welded for this purpose. B5 Beluga lenses with apple, red beds, parsley and mint yogurt. B7 sweet potato pure with zucchini, roasted pumpkin seeds and creamy sheep cheese. In particular, B7 made his name all honor and settled down! The lentils with the mint yogurt would have tasted well in an Indian kitchen. Both B is delicious! The third component should be the main actor, actually for my wife C12 trout, but that was outside, alternatively there were C12* zander with mangold, marinated with pesto, on Rhabarb sauce with Chutneypraline. C11 Smooth plum pig with grill sauce. The Zander could also convince with the acidic sauce. Not so much liked the blown mangold, which was completely nature, even salt could not taste, and so something very boring in taste. His name was honored by the Pulled Pork, which was credible for a very long time, perfectly equipped with a sweet-saure sauce and a not too dominant smoke aroma became noticeable. If you have fed these 6 plates to the second, you are happy not a starter (although I want to try the melon soup) and you have a little space for the very delicious lavender panna Cotta! Even my wife once ate Panna Cotta, the Lavendelaroma can become very fast too dominant in courts, here it fits perfectly! An espresso still, and we were tired and very satisfied with the kitchen performance of the inn to the green tree. Overall, the service went well, supervised by two ladies with routine in the evening season by a very mixed clientele of families with children, to elderly couples and two large groups. So I can come to the conclusion, in Boitzenburg do not let the Princess Castle arm dazzle and only look at the Marstall and the castle and return there, but a few hundred meters further to the place, look behind the magnificent facade and get to know a wonderful creative cuisine. We'll be back.
Manchmal findet man in kleinen, unscheinbaren Orten wahre Schätze, und genau das haben wir vor 2 Jahren in Boitzenburg entdeckt und im Sommer 2016 genauer unter die Lupe genommen. An diesem Tag sind wir vor dem überfüllten Marstall am Boitzenburger Schloss geflohen und haben quasi auf der Flucht den wunderschönen Innenhof des Gasthofes entdeckt. Obwohl das Gebäude zwischen der Straße und dem Innenhof der einzige unrenovierte Teil des Ensembles ist und ziemlich trostlos aussieht, bietet der Gasthof zum grünen Baum trotzdem ein schönes Zuhause. Ein Bereich für Veranstaltungen und Laden für regionale Produkte, ein Bereich mit Gästezimmern und der Gastraum - all dies umschließt den Innenhof. Für den 17. August hatten wir spontan beschlossen, ohne Reservierung in ein Restaurant zu gehen. Nach einem Telefonanruf konnten wir einen Tisch im Gasthof zum grünen Baum ergattern und sind die knapp 13 Kilometer von Fürstenhagen nach Boitzenburg mit dem Auto gefahren. Gegen 19 Uhr kamen wir an und parkten vor dem Eingang des Gasthofes. Das Wetter war perfekt für den Innenhof, der entsprechend gut besucht war. Zum Glück hatten wir reserviert, denn der Supersommer 2018 hatte die Gästezahlen in der Region in die Höhe schnellen lassen. Die Karten wurden gereicht, wir bestellten Getränke und schauten uns das Angebot der Küche an. Es gab Burger, Flammkuchen, Beilagen, Quiches, Vorspeisen und Desserts. Das Besondere waren jedoch die Kombinationen A, B und C, die eine Hauptmahlzeit ergaben. Wir entschieden uns direkt für A, B und C und bekamen leckere Speisen serviert. Die vegetarischen Gemüsebeilagen konnten besonders überzeugen, genau wie die sättigenden Komponenten. Die Hauptgerichte, darunter Zander und Pulled Pork, waren ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Zum Abschluss gab es eine köstliche Lavendel-Panna Cotta. Der Service war insgesamt gut und der Gasthof zum grünen Baum bot eine erfreulich kreative Küche. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen und empfehlen, sich nicht nur vom Schlosscharme blenden zu lassen, sondern auch die erfrischende Küche des Gasthofes hinter der Fassade zu entdecken.
Visit the castle in boitzenburg. parking space in front of the marstall. almost all cars and cyclists enter. the small green tree was discovered only because of the way to the church. church unfortunately also, longer, because of renovations. for this the large small restaurant with pension visited. by the owners with much love to detail designed everywhere. is also valid for the design. service without trembling, the young man in the kitchen already makes potato corners so crispy that they are alone satisfied with the fantastic dip. the boitzen citizen makes this perfect. only improvement point is the garderobe. it is exceptional and offers only metal hooks because they cannot hang sensitive demiries and the like, because iron is missing. full points, even because the prices are reasonable and they like to come back. keeps this and let the cook know how well it contributes to the overall result.
