Fasil Mediterranean - Boonton

Great, simple and delicious Turkish food and friendly staff. Accommodated us as needed.

I had dinner with a friend, starting with the cucumber and tomato salad, the baba ganoush, and for entrees yogurt lamb kabab and chicken kabab. Everything was excellent, perfectly cooked, and the portions were huge. The service was attentive but not intrusive. We ended up taking half the entrees home and they made a second great meal the next night!

Food is fresh, portions are generous. Salads come in two sizes, which is great. My friend almost finished a small. The large tabbouleh can be shared by at least 3 people. (Be aware, theirs doesn't have much bulghur in it. Most Turkish standards are on the menu. Hummus is smooth and tasty, and the pita is soft, warm, pillowy. In good weather, their outdoor space is ample and very nice (considering it's next to a parking lot .

We’ve enjoyed several great meals at Fasil. We love the baba ganoush, shepherds salad and hummus as appetizers. Yogurt chicken kebabs never disappoint. And the warm pita is the best. We need to come more often.
