Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe first time we had a wonderful experience. I don't know what the food or the service was better. both very hard to mistake! we ordered various dishes and desserts. the salad leaves were fresh, which I always look, and the wood-fired pizzas...must try where quality ingredients around. The pasta dishes might have been a bit more generous, but they were all beautiful. the timing between the curses was before location and the timing and the judgment of our waiter was absolutely perfectly superior service for almost everywhere in melbourne. nothing was too much annoyed and we were very well looked after with a slightly walking wise with a delicious puppy of humor and good will. the drink and wine list was also comprehensive. eagerly is looking forward to another visit soon!
I visited this restaurant for the first time with three friends and we ordered a variety of dishes, including the black mushroom risotto. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the risotto had no flavor at all. We asked the waiter for salt and pepper to try to improve the taste, but it didn't help. I ended up only taking a few bites before giving up, and one of my friends stopped eating because he was too hungry. When I mentioned the issue to the waiter, a coworker came over to apologize and mentioned that our feedback would be passed on to the kitchen. We were asked if there was something else we would prefer, but we were unsure if it was an offer for a complimentary replacement. To our surprise, when we received the bill, we were charged for both portions of the risotto. The waiter confirmed that we were expected to pay for both, leaving us feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. I have to admit that the only reason I am giving this restaurant two stars is because two people in our group enjoyed their meals. Overall, we were not impressed and are unlikely to return as customers.
We had heard good things about postino and wanted to try it for ever. we were not disappointed by the food. it was really amazing. the service was slow. first we had to try to take over our order. The wait between the escape and the head was the best part of an hour. we were happy to see the restaurant full, especially coming from a lockdown. I had barely finished my last mouthful and the waitress stood next to me after I had cleared my partner plate, waited for me to finish my mouthful, wipe my mouth/hand and continued to delete my plate. a few minutes would have been nice not to feel that I was observed and my meal ended. that means we could not harm our meal times.
A last minute booking, but we were in the position to sit outside in the courtyard and enjoyed a balmy evening. service was attentive and helpful and we enjoyed an Italian wine and calamari to start a small portion, but very tasty. seafood spaghetti for the net...was excellent, with lots of seafood in a delicious sauce and the tiramisu and affogatos to finish a wonderful experience.
We ordered pizza and pasta for a party over the weekend and it was fantastic. We have been dining at this restaurant on and off for the past 5 years, and the food is consistently great and never fails to impress.
