Avaliação da contribuiçãoI stumbled upon this restaurant across from Mass General Hospital and frankly wasn’t expecting much. But upon walking in I was intrigued by the Toro sashimi and sushi plate which sounds intriguing. I ordered that along with some salmon sashimi and I was quite impressed with the quality of the sushi. The Toro set plate also had a Toro Maki roll in addition to sushi. What I was most impressed with was the quality of the sushi and the price was very reasonable in fact shockingly reasonable for Boston. The service was also outstanding. Next time I’d like to try some of the cooked items. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We had tuna nigiri, sushi rolls, and a sashimi platter, and everything was beautifully presented. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic as well. I'm really glad I spotted it right in front of our hotel—what an amazing find!
On my second visit, since it was nearby and I was craving it, I tried the bluefin again and I was not disappointed! I requested no torching, and it was fantastic! (See 3rd picture)
We ordered sushi through Uber Eats to enjoy by the marina. The restaurant was incredibly fast, and our food arrived in no time. I absolutely loved my poke bowl. The dressing and ginger really enhanced the flavors. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be a regular customer!
I really dislike giving a low review, but maybe we just hit the kitchen on an off night. The service was good and the restaurant was clean, but the sushi was only mediocre. I ordered the Tuna Trio (tuna roll, spicy tuna roll, and tuna hand roll). While the fish appeared fresh, the overall taste was just okay. The spicy roll lacked flavor, though I did enjoy the crunchy bits. Perhaps the sushi rice could have used a little more attention? Unfortunately, it has been challenging to find great sushi in Boston.
