Avaliação da contribuiçãoI’ve been trying to figure out my favorite bakery in Boston Chinatown, and I think this might be it. It has so much fun variety of breads, both savory and sweet, and everything I’ve tried here I loved! Definitely more variety than most of the other bakeries in Chinatown. There’s choices and combinations of red bean, taro, custard, coconut, matcha, cheese, pork floss, scallion, hot dog, bbq pork, egg, the list goes on and on!
Got some cake leftovers and classic Chinese pastries. This is very much like the bakeries from China the breads, buns, and cakes highly recommend tho I don’t have photos for all stuff I got haha
Though there are many different bakeries within a block from here, Top Bread is special. With COVID restrictions, everything is pre-packaged and super easy to grab and go and also get a drink. I think the selection here is more modernized and exciting, bringing together different traditional flavors with twists (like Cheese). Though you'll be paying a few more cents per item, it is definitely worth it!
Today I went to almost every single bakery in Chinatown, and this place was my favorite. Lots of room inside to walk around and geek out over bread without people bumping into your back. Best part was they brought out all this freshly baked bread-they were all still warm and amazingly soft. I went for a pineapple bun, which was objectively the best tasting out of all the ones I tried today. Stacks up to my favorite bakeries from Chicago and Manhattan Chinatowns. 10/10 would recommend!!
Their breads are really good. I happened to walk into that shop today and I really liked their almond one and taro one.
