Restaurant de l'Abbaye

They said they were closed but their restaurant was open for another hour and half. Old man yelled at Deaf couple and was prejudice.

Went with a couple of friends and had a marvellous meal. We wanted a traditional French restaurant with good simple well prepared food, and we loved it here. The waiter was fast and extremely good fun, making our meal more like a fun party with his good humour. A year ago we had dined in a fancy restaurant in Bourg and were a bit dissatisfied, but not here. We had four day menus, all great, good quantities of delicious food. I had a poulet de Bresse with cream sauce and potato gratin, starting with 12 marvellous snails full of butter, garlic and parsley, that had a wonderful aroma. It was miles better than last year in a very fancy expensive place. Desserts were excellent. My wife had a veal cutlet also with gratin dauphinois, both excellent. The salads starters were wonderful. Altogether marvellous! I could go on and on…

Excellent choice of food from pizza to steak. Service very friendly and not rushed .We were with friends who had been before so knew it was good. Reasonably priced depending on what you had.

In a rather cool setting, with a beautiful shaded terrace the lunch break carries its name very well. the boss and the waiter welcome you with a smile and a nice little word. Don't take your head, you're stuck to abstain! here we eat excellent products served with humour, professionalism and speed if necessary.If you go around, stop without any problems ... for us it is on, we will return there
