After reading many positive reviews, decided to book for the first time, for my wife's birthday. All very nice and friendly. Served by a lady whose name on receipt was Andrea. She appeared to be the only person taking orders and serving initially and was working non stop rushing about. Orders taken. Served with nice starters. On receipt of my steak it was warm and not hot. A waiter very kindly took it away to heat up. Unfortunately, all of my family had finished their main course meals by the time my hot main meal returned. Once I cut into my well done steak, it became apparent that the steak was not what I ordered and was still pink inside. We settled our bill and when asked why I hadn't eaten my steak, the waitress very kindly did not charge us for my meal. Nice restaurant, good service, spoilt by cold and under cooked food.

I dropped by this restaurant for lunch a few days before Christmas. The place was about half-full and when I arrived I couldn 't see any serving staff at all except one bored-looking girl behind the bar who was determinedly ignoring everyone. I didn 't see a Wait to be seated sign so after lingering at the door for a minute or two I sat at a table and waited. After about five minutes a waitress finally appeared and I asked her for a menu. She then proceeded to give me a big telling off for seating myself, very much as if I were a naughty child. I pointed out that I had waited at the door and hadn 't seen any signs or any staff but she was very annoyed and told me it didn 't matter and I should have waited. I asked for a menu. She told me she was willing to get me one but because they were so busy there would be a 30 minute delay for food (as mentioned the place was only half full). At that point I apologized for trying to disturb her with my custom, got up and left. You can 't talk to customers that way and expect them to stay. Needless to say I won 't be coming back.
