Roses Bistro + Flowers - Bowmanville

Stopped here with a girlfriend for lunch... will definitely come back.. great atmosphere with live music Wednesdays at lunch!! Thai soup, spinach salad and veggie melt sandwich on fresh rosemary sourdough bread... all delicious... service was great... wine list looked good too... definitely planning on going back with some girls on Thursday nights for open mic!!

Roses Bistro is a small café offering a limited menu of delicious homemade sandwiches and soups. I highly recommend the Thai soup. They have a large selection of teas and coffees as well as tasty baked goods. Gluten free baked goods are also available. This quaint spot has a lovely atmosphere with large windows overlooking King Street. In the summer all of these windows open up giving a very European sidewalk café feel. Wonderful spot for lunch. Service is sometimes a little slow.

Yes I heard from a friend that Roses is closing oh what a great shame.the atmosphere at Roses is just so relaxing ..so nice to call in for a coffee or of course a favorite glass of wine, when you need to take five from shopping .My sister visits from England and Roses is one of her favorite ports of call we sit over a glass of wine chatting for longer than we should and of course they have live music on Thursday evenings good for a night out with a couple of girl friends..I do hope they change their minds and stay they will be missed......

Great to take your kids for lunch. Great menu, good prices too! Sit by the big windows and enjoy your lunch and then after go and check out the beautiful flowers.

Went in to check out as a flower shop. Stayed and had a drink and lunch. Variety of martinis, lunc good, but small, which is probably good, but priced higher. They have flowers and other neat items for sale. Went with a friend and think this would be neat for a few ladies to get together and vist and try their martinis (with someone else driving) would go again.
