Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhenever I am busy and running errands at Blackwood St, I always add time to my schedule to stop in for a coffee, but really love it when I have time to slide into a chair and order breakfast. Hobby Lane has cooked the most tasty meals in the area for years, and the team always make their customers feel welcome (often by name). Coffee is great. It can get busy from time to time, as expected in the rush hour when the coffee is good.
The break to go burger was excellent.ive never given breakfast burger a 5/5 before. The halloumi and bacon and relish worked so well together. I just wish it was bigger. Coffee was good as well. Well done to the staff.
Great food and lovely staff. Definitely putting up strong competition among all the other places on Blackwood street The corn fritters were amazing. Crispy, not soggy at all, and perfect portion size. Was heaven for a light hangover.
My favourite cafe! The staff are always so friendly. I recommend the haloumi toastie, the banana and pumpkin loaf or iced coffee with ice cream. My 4 year old loves it too.
We visited this cafe without noticing that it’s not Two charming finches cafe anymore. I realized that the menu and coffee was absolutely different. They serve Toby’s cafe. The breakfast menu is not exciting and has limited vegetarian options. We had egg Benedicts with truffle mushrooms. It was tasty but too expensive for a tiny portion, $20. The service was good though. The tables are too close to each other and not much space.
