Metro Diner - Bradenton

Food tasted like it was steamed, no other flavor, Hawaiian pork bowl did not taste at all like that described it, server was super nice but hardly came to table.I spoke with friends that have been there, and they said same thing about all of what I said.

My friends and I have been visiting the Bradenton, Florida Metro Diner on an almost weekly basis since just after it opened, and Payton has been taking care of us for years! She is a fabulous server, always smiling and engaging, helpful and courteous, and looking for ways to make her guest's dining experience superlative! She remembers our preferences and food concerns without fail, regularly greeting us with our usual drink choices and ready to make recommendations about new menu options. I also have yet to finish my drink that Payton hasn't already come by with a fresh one in hand.In over 50 years of restaurant dining in countries throughout the world, she is by far the best waitress I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Today my friend and I had brunch at Metro Diner, Cortez rd, Bradenton FL. The food was great, I had the sausage gravy with biscuits, the portion was huge and was served fresh and hot. The best part was our server Payton. She was so very nice and even though we could tell she was busy, she made sure all our needs were taken care of in a timely manner. She was always with a smile and a pleasure to talk to. Thank you Payton!Parking: Parking is more than sufficient.

My dad and I love the Metro! He has breakfast here every morning and always raves about the staff and the food. We came in this morning to celebrate dad's birthday and Payton gave us the royal treatment! The food is always delicious, but the staff here are absolutely amazing. Thank you Payton for being so good to us!

O.K. I was hungry. And it was close. The menu looked good and I figured I was try it out. I am glad I did. The food was excellent. It smelled good walking in and I certainly was full when I left. The food was cooked and presented well. It just tasted like quality.But there was something that made it stand out like most don't. The service was exceptional. The attention to detail, timing, just being attentive to what I need was subtly executed to perfection. Its funny cause I do not even realize it until I left when I was thinking why was that so good. That is what I call professional. The server actually genuinely wanted me to have a good experience. What I got was an amazing one.Bottom line, thank you Metro and Peyton! Very well done!
