Rivershed - Braintree

I was really disappointed with the food. The fried pickles were good but both the cornbread and skillet cookie were unevenly cooked. The brisket sandwich was a total disappointment. It was like you took the scraps of meat which were overcooked and loaded it with bbq sauce. I was expecting sliced pieces of brisket on a bun drizzled with bbq sauce. I don't expect to go back and I was so looking forward to having a good bbg place in the area.

Went there with expectations of good BBQ, and was disappointed. Got the brisket and pulled pork combo platter. Both were dry, not well seasoned, and you could barely tell if they were ever near any smoke. Had to slather both with BBQ sauce. BTW their Carolina style sauce was essentially just honey mustard, no hint of the typical vinegary flavor. The tastiest item was the microscopic portion of baked beans. I was super excited to visit this place with my boyfriend for a night dinner date. I was utterly disappointed. They didn?t have the beer he ordered, I asked for a mojito but they didn?t have mint, and then I asked for a midori and orange juice which they didn?t have as well. This was the first 5 minutes. Wow omg so impressed! Stopped in for a quick beer and an app with a friend and OH MY GOD THE EGG ROLLS. These egg rolls are so hot and fresh they must?ve been rolled by **** himself. But the real star of the show? THE AVOCADO POBLANO. When I say I wish I could put this sauce on everything I eat for the rest of my life I mean it. What a combo. Fantastic beer, great staff. This is exactly what the landing needed!

Amazing fried pickles! We sat outside, since it was a warm evening. Our server was phenomenal, she worked her butt off and was very pleasant, despite a delay/mix up with the host. Will return, nice place for a bite in the area.
