Pizza Hut - Brantford

My son asked to go to Pizza Hut for his birthday celebration. We noticed when we walked in that there wasn't anyone to greet us. We waited for several minutes and then were told to find a seat. We arrived at 6:30pm and we waited for 10 minutes and no one came over to bring us a menu so my son grabbed one. The waiter apologized about the wait and said that he was short staffed (he was the only waiter). We sympathized with him but management should do a better job at ensuring adequate staffing. At 7:05 our drinks arrived (water). We saw our waiter speaking to the cook and it appeared like there was confusion about orders. He was conscientious when we asked for an eta on our food and promptly brought us our salad. The food was fine, up to snuff with what we would expect. As a special treat we ordered the cookie dessert. It never came so we took our pizza to the counter with the intent on just getting out of the restaurant. The waiter handed me someone else's bill and said he knew that it wasn't mine but that it was $2 cheaper. It was actually $10 more. We know that the waiter was doing his best but the manager was verbally abusive towards him and he encouraged us to submit a survey but then we found out that it just goes to the abusive manager. We told them that we barely eat out and that it was a special treat for my son's birthday so we felt let down. We left at 8:00pm and felt like the manager was arguing with us and noticed another customer had brought up their left over pizza to be boxed. I don't think that we will be back.

Good for their buffet..great selection...but the prices of their specialty pizzas are getting a bit overpriced...still good pizza..especially their pepperoni lovers pizza is very tasty..lots of pepperoni..spiced just right. ..crispy on the edges...mmmm

Pizza hut is everything that is wrong with pizza - i'm not sure how they make it but it doesn't come close to a oven fired pizza from a small family run pizzeria. Service is below average and price is expensive for what you get.

I recently picked up an expensive pizza from Pizza Hut on a Friday night and was surprised to find the restaurant completely empty. It seems like the franchise is not doing well.

The pizza arrived 25 minutes later than the estimated delivery time provided online. It was cold and tasted like it had been sitting for two days. This was the worst Pizza Hut experience I have ever had.
