The Poseidon restaurant is located on the Kornmarktplatz in Bregenz. There are quite a few other restaurants here and it's very close to the city centre of Bregenz. Greeks are well known for their hospitality and this place is no exception. You will be greeted with a hand shake when you enter and a glass of ouzo will find it's way to your table as soon or even before you are ready to order a drink. Great service, makes you feel welcome right away. This is a busy place so I would not recommend it for a romantic dinner evening but it's perfect to kick off a night out with your friends or with your family. Also note that Poseidon is offering lunch menus. Last food I've had there is a piece of lamb with baked potatoes (see picture which was really good! This restaurant has a smoking area so make sure to reserve a table according to your liking. I do not smoke and we sat in the area it was quite okay (surprisingly), most likely because they have a good air conditioning. It didn't annoy me in the least and I'm usually quite picky when it comes to smoking while I eat. Parking is available at the big park venue about 2 minutes from the place. You may be lucky and find a spot near the post office or the Viva restaurant' but likely you won't. The garage is a bit expensive but you can't avoid coming by car you will not have many other options. Bottom line: Recommend this greek restaurant in the centre of Bregenz. Good service, good food!
