Avaliação da contribuiçãoZeche: 57,50 € General: Kalymnos is a Greek district in the distinctive and culinary otherwise abandoned Grambke. According to the homepage [here link], unfortunately with annoying advertising and badly readable writing, it should be the Kalymnos for 15 years. may have chosen for the time of creation of the homepage. After our memory the Kalymnos were already in the nineties and the interior has been on the hump for a few years. Kalymnos offers a reliable, tasty kitchen and is well visited according to our experience. The expected audience: young and older couples, families, small groups. After some prices have been increased, I see the price-performance ratio at 3.75 stars After several Greek reviews in Bremen, I decided to rank. It is based on RK reviews with the five stars Cala. Here it is weighted with my evaluation intermediates, food double, PLV simple, with the same number of points one rank is awarded several times: 1. Orpheas, Burg Grambke: 4.17 2. Kalymnos, Burg Grambke: 3,91 3. Meos, Lehesterdeich: 3,83 3. Poseidon, Gröpelingen: 3,83 3. Symposio, Neustadt: 3,83 4. Katerini, ferry Lobbendorf: 3,67 5. Olympia, Grohn: 3,58 6. Ifestos, Ferry Lobbendorf: 3.5 6. Irodion, Ferry Lobbendorf, 3.5 7. Parthenon II, Gröpelingen, 3,33 7. Artemis, Lüssum Bock 8. 9. Taverna Saloniki, Neustadt: 3,25 10. Akropolis, ferry Lobbendorf: 3,17 11. Kiriaki, Less: 3 11. Crete, OHZ: 3 11. Athos, Schwanewede: 3 Service: Behind the counter a young woman and at the tables of the host and a younger man. We experienced a fleeting and friendly service. The host had the donor pants and so there were three ouzo on his bill. My obvious photos certainly made him curious, but he didn't think what kind of food I would eat. Like a four-star performance, as always in Kalymnos. Beverage prices go to the top third: 0.3 l Bremer Group Pils €2.60, Greek mineral water €0.00, the simple land wines from the two-liter bottle come for the quarter to €4.50. Food: The map is available on the homepage and offers a usual selection of cold and warm appetizers, grill, baked grill dishes and some lamb dishes from the oven. Unfortunately no Taramas, but red beet salad with garlic panzari as the only special for me. In the grill department we missed the lamb fillet we appreciated. We chose classic gigantes 5,50 € , Ktipiti 5,00 € and Pepperonis from the grill with garlic 4,50 € . There is a basket with white turquoise bread. The appetizers have all seasoned well. The Ktipiti with good sheep cheese, but for me slightly extended and only with mild sharpness finely chopped green Pepperoni. The gigantes, tomato oily with herbs and the right cooking condition are excellent and recommended. Then the Souvlaki was originally Greek with Pommes and Tsatsiki €13.00 . They used to be called peasant spiders. And filled souvlaks with pommes and tsatsiki €13.00 . A classic herbal salad as we like it in Greek and prefer any leaf salad with industrial dressing. The Tsatsiki garnish and on full fat place, so for me his cucumber and dill can come, but this is the basis. As seen in the photo, the meat cube is cut, well seasoned and simply grilled. My pigs were filled with sheep cheese and tomatoes. The meat is cut very thin, also well seasoned and grilled. It can not be juicy, but with the spicy sheep cheese filling, which after cutting seemed like a cheese sauce, it can be eaten well. So the food, as usual in Kalymnos, is again very tasty and worth its four stars. The portion sizes with the herbal salad suitable. A small salt and pepper mill was brought to our desire. Ambience: Kalymnos is not a blue white or niche Greek. The decoration keeps within limits. The restaurant extends to the left and right of the entrance in an open space. Blank dark wooden tables and chairs are on a likewise dark needle felt floor. The space is sufficiently dimensioned on the tables and in between. A shame of cosiness is not the Kalymnos. In summer you can sit on a spacious and well shielded terrace in front of the restaurant. The toilets came in the years and could renovate. Especially the tiles on the men's toilet with many dowel holes and small damage are unsightly. Cleanliness: There is nothing to complain about here.
Nice and courteous service as with basically all Greek restaurants however quality of food was bell below our expectations and what we got at other Greek restaurant in the are of the north of Bremen and vicinity.
