Be ready for super tasty bbq very tender it almost fell from the fork. mac and cheese and potato salad are on the spot. Do not forget the banane pudín! this photo was on Thursday afternoon. this is authentic texas bbq and everyone is super beautiful.

Omg, soou good! always looking for a new BBQ link to try when they drive through central Texas. ljs was introduced in 2021 top texas bbq from texas monthly and was on my route from austin to houston. fortunately, they were both open and not sold out (which is a common problem that I learned in finding good tx bbq). I am a big fan of coarse salt and peppers (moist cut) and ljs not disappointed! great bark and super damp, melt them in their mouth rinderbrisket. the owner behind the counter recommended both the crowned green and the Mac cheese as the two sides, and both were super delicious. if in or around brenham, check them safe, ljs for some good local food. highly recommended!

Great food! we had brisket, truthahn, drilling and mac and cheese and enjoyed it all very much!

I had the pork carnitas tacos, YUM! I also got a side of potato salad (which had bacon oh my Yummy) Hubby had 3 meat plate w/ ribs, turkey and brisket. His side were coleslaw and collards. He said the collard greens were real good. But the best thing about the plate was his brisket.

I had the brisket mac-n-cheez and it is to die for! I even was given a little bit of their amazing vinegar-based cole slaw. Would definitely come here with friends and/or family. Super duper friendly staff. :
