Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is the second time we’ve been here with no problems. It’s a cafeteria style restaurant at Butchart Gardens, but the food doesn’t taste like cafeteria food. It’s good. The gf desserts are delicious. The menu is clearly marked and the employees are helpful. The food is delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is very relaxing.
This is the more casual cafeteria-style restaurant at the Butchart Gardens. Access to this restaurant is only available with purchase of admission to the gardens. There are GF options marked on the menu and everything is made to order. They will make a note for the kitchen to handle like an allergy and the server says gluten free when it comes to your table. The food was decent, not as amazing as the other restaurant at the gardens I’m sure but it was still tasty and the service was very fast.
Wow, were we impressed with the gluten options here! The food was nice restaurant quality. We had the steak frites which was cooked perfectly medium rare and the seasoning was en pointe. My daughter had the seafood pasta and is still thinking about the sauce that was on it. They even had gluten free desserts we had the trifle and the brownie. If you are at Butchart Gardens, I would definitely pay them a visit!
I ordered the Soup of the Day which I was told is always GF. Today it was curry cauliflower. It was so good! I also tried the Wildberry Trifle. It was amazing!! They have quite a bit of GF options. I was impressed.
I was pleasantly surprised. When captive at Butchart Gardens, I expected zero options. Everything marked. Ingredient list available if needed. Soup, salads, some desserts. I had a Thai salad with rice noodles. It was decent—but more importantly safe and more than just an open bag of iceberg lettuce mix with no dressing (which I have had more times than I care to count).
