Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe knew we were in for a good meal when we saw the parking lot was full and there was a wait to be seated at the restaurant. The hostess mentioned it would be an hour wait, but we were actually seated in about 30 minutes. While we waited, I grabbed our first round of drinks at the bar. Once seated, we quickly perused the menu and decided on a half dozen oysters and calamari to start. Both dishes were tasty. I opted for the seared tuna, while my wife went with the steak and frites, both of which were delicious. We were too full for dessert. Our server was attentive and the dining area, though small, was cozy and comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience to cap off our last evening in Cape Cod.
I wish I could give the Brewster Fish House an extra half star for the quality of their food because 4 stars just doesn't seem adequate for this cozy and delightful restaurant. I have visited a few times and would come more frequently if it was easier to get a table. The fact that I continue to return is a testament to how much I enjoy it. On my most recent visit, I tried the lobster cavatappi with peas. The flavor was fantastic, although I do wish the portion had been larger and the price lower. At $46, it was a bit expensive. We also enjoyed the striped bass with cannellini beans and broccoli rabe, which was also delicious. I will definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later!
The decor appears outdated, with fake antique lighting from Home Depot and painted floors that would have been better if left with a simple, natural finish.
I have never had a better Lobster Bisque! If you are near this restaurant, you must stop by. The interior is absolutely charming!
We tried a variety of dishes and they were all delicious. The drinks and chowder were outstanding!
