Avaliação da contribuiçãoAmazing fresh seafood right in my neighborhood! The food is made to order, and the clam fritters are absolutely incredible, just like the homemade hand-cut onion rings. This is truly a fantastic restaurant—definitely a must-visit!
As an experienced vendor at the Brimfield Antique Show, I set up my booth in Sheldon’s field, right across from booth F01 where the Fish House is located. I personally had the opportunity to dine at the Fish House, and I must say, they serve the absolute best homemade Lobster Bisque I have ever tasted—it's simply out of this world! This isn't a paid review; I was just hungry and decided to try their food. Trust me when I say, as someone who travels often for shows, I recognize good food when I taste it, and the Fish House truly stands out. For comparison, I also tried the pulled pork from a vendor in the next field, but it didn’t quite measure up. If you're at the Brimfield Show, make sure to stop by the Fish House for a delicious meal! - Anthony Raffaele
We stumbled upon this gem while taking the scenic route home from Boston to Albany on Route 20. We ordered the seafood combo dinner, and everything was cooked fresh right on the spot. The haddock, shrimp, fries, and onion rings were all crispy and delicious! We also decided to try a crab cake, and it was perfect!
The menu mainly features fish and seafood, along with a hot dog and a burger for variety. We ordered the Fisherman's Platter, fish and chips, clam chowder, and clam fritters. The platter was more than enough for two people to share. Everything is hand-breaded to order, and the breading was fresh and delicious. You can also choose the size of the onion rings, which were perfectly crisp and flavorful. The scallops and shrimp were cooked to perfection—tender and not at all rubbery. The battered fish was deeply fried to perfection, featuring tasty fish and a well-seasoned batter. The clam chowder was delicious as well, but a heads up for non-meat eaters: it starts with onions cooked in bacon fat (yum!). The clam fritters had a wonderfully fluffy texture and a delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely return. It was absolutely delicious!
However, after a busy morning and realizing that the FISH HOUSE truck wasn't conveniently close, I decided to try another food truck called LOBSTER ROLL. Unfortunately, not only was their price $2 higher, but the service was also unfriendly. I waited nearly 40 minutes for my lobster roll, which turned out to be chewy and poorly seasoned. They even lost my order ticket and handled it quite rudely. A big shoutout to FISH HOUSE for their friendly customer service—it's a rare find these days and truly makes a difference! I can’t wait for May to return. I’ll definitely be back!
