Sumo Salad - Brisbane

Sumo Salad have a couple of decent combinations, I've enjoyed their chickpea pumpkin salad and sometimes their pesto chicken avocado salad is nice too, but it can be hit and miss. Located in the food court in Myer Centre makes it very conveniently located if you're shopping or working in the CBD.

Made my own salad for lunch today, the staff in the CBD are always super friendly and get the salad ready so quickly so I'm in and out.

They look good, I'd really want to try it some day, I guess whenever I visit there I'm hitting you guys :D I just hope it's all good when I come :p

Probably the worst 8.50 I ever paid for ... How come you raised your prices ? The taste and ingredients are still the same? Service is average.. Next door had better and bigger salads than you !!

I have come to accept that it's always a bit of a gamble with Sumo Salad. Depending on who's serving, you can get a varying amount of the good stuff (meat, avocado, feta, etc). However, I can usually put up with it because it tastes great. But today, I walked away with a container full of lettuce that I payed $10 for instead of the beautiful chicken and pesto salad I ordered. I don't like being "that" customer, but I think it's reasonable to expect a bit more bang for my buck. Until they bring back some consistency, I don't think I'm coming back again for another game of Russian roulette with salad.
