Tingalpa - Brisbane

Really enjoy coming to the Tingalpa Pub. Renovations are fantastic. Meals were pretty good. for steak cooked perfectly.

We attended the Christmas Lunch Buffet, and were frankly very disappointed. For the price paid (over the prawns were discoloured and off, and the oysters had not been kept on ice. The large room next to the entryway was extremely warm, and most of our person party was uncomfortable. After the quality of the buffet, I do not ever anticipate returning to the Tingalpa.

Was there for an hour nobody asking to see check ins. Unsafe practice and unfriendly venue

Christmas Day was very disappointing for my family this year.It was the first time we decided to go out for Christmas lunch.We chose your hotel to celebrate with our family and we were very let down by this experience.The menu sounded so good but it didn't deliver.The prawns were frozen, some of the foods were cold, the roast veg had a nice flavour but were only half cooked. The buffet was not refilled quick enough for the number of people. The line ups for the buffet were expected but they were quite long.When you have a buffet, many plates get used.Sadly our table missed out on the plate clearing until when someone at our table ordered coffee and it was delivered and it was only then that the staff member noticed all the used plates and decided to clear some.We have never had any trouble with your Hotel and and menu in the past, but this was very disappointing, your standard is usually better.

Very comfortable atmosphere, good food and service reasonable. Family oriented.
