Avaliação da contribuiçãoI'm not usually a vegetarian type but I've been here a couple of times and the food is always good, the service fine, and a bit of street character too. The pumpkin risotto is tasty with a decent size portion.
This place serves AMAZING food, full stop. Not amazing vegetarian/vegan food, but amazing food!!! We tried the pesto vegetable lasagne(which didn't really taste of pesto, but was still tasty anyway) and the nachos. The soy mince really tastes like meat and the dishes are so flavourful, I couldn't tell that it was missing anything. The service was wonderful as well and I'll definitely come back.
We went as a party of 3 with one among, us a vegan. We ordered the Green Thai Curry off the specials Board, with 2 of the Black Bean Burger. We had the Pot Stickers and the Samosas as starters to share. Gave the alcohol a miss and tried the Avocado Smoothy and the Assorted Berries concoction. Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience with the waitress providing us with all the attention we wanted. It was a Friday lunchtime with not too many customers. My partner and I are non vegetarians however, partake in vegetarian meals on a regular basis. Vege Rama is one we would certainly visit again. We all loved the coffee - a Soy Latte, a Flat White with Almond Milk and a standard Latte from cow's milk.
Very poor value for money - just another over priced place that needs more education on how to prepare quality food that is edible... So many other places around close by that are heaps better than this place... Happy to never go back
As usual, yet another overpriced venture riding on the back of the "healthy living" band wagon. My $17 black bean burger left my appetite unsatisfied as if I'd just eaten a $6.50 culinary effort, but the turmeric late took the cake; it lasted two attempts at consuming before I had to give up and leave it abandoned... One of the staff asked me what was wrong with it, I told her it was "disgusting" and asked them how they made it; here's their reply... "we put a teaspoon of turmeric in the milk and steam it up"... so, no ginger? no cinnamon? no pepper? no honey? - Sorry guys that's not a turmeric late, that's just a serving of BS... Walked up the road to a real place and purchased a real meal...
