Avaliação da contribuiçãoLast night was paratha night, and the chicken curry paired perfectly with it. The chicken paratha was absolutely fantastic. Thank you, Bawarchi, for the delicious meal.
I tried killi parotta for the first time (layered roti wrapped in a banana leaf with curry), and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. I was impressed with the chef's skill in making the parotta. On Mondays, they serve a special parotta. The service was great.
Rather bland food and certainly not up to the standard of some of the better Indian restaurants within the area.
I don't normally bother to leave reviews but this was so bad I was compelled too. The chicken tikka masala did not taste like a tikka masala nor even look like one the chicken was white in an orange thin sauce that may have had a tin of tomatoes chucked in. The rice was dry not fresh was clumpy and awful. The Naan was really greasy as were the popadoms. The whole meal has found its way to the bin and it was not the cheapest meal. This was the takeaway.
I ordered a Chicken Madras and a Goan fish curry for delivery. Unfortunately, both dishes turned out to be thin sauces with only a few pieces of chicken or fish. There were no vegetables included at all. The sauce was so thin that it could have been drunk with a straw. I was very disappointed with the quality and ended up throwing it away. I don't usually order takeout, so this experience really upset me. I believe a canned curry from a budget brand would have been better. Just writing this review is making me feel sick. It's important for the restaurant to take pride in their food and improve their dishes.
