We celebrated my mother's 89th birthday with afternoon tea. The room was beautiful, and the seating was very comfortable. We savored delicious scones with jam and clotted cream, and the selection of freshly brewed loose leaf tea was outstanding. The service was impeccable, with great attention to detail. One of the waiters even brought a small cake to the table so that I could light a candle fountain for my mother. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
