Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe visited the restaurant in the evening before it closed.
I'm sorry to hear that Redlefsens will close the end of this month. A great classic restaurant.
I have my teenager here for college homecoming weekend dinner. Wanted somewhere different and especially, but still casual and comfortable. It was the perfect choice. Warm and lively atmosphere, a mixture of couples and families, old and young. German food is not my favorites, but the dishes of the Goulash and Sauerbraten were abundant, tasty and cheap. It was fun to try some new things, but the menu has many offers for those who want more traditional American and Italian cuisine. I would like to come back with my husband and order a few boots of beer!
We were unable to find seating as the restaurant was very crowded. After waiting for 20 minutes, we decided to leave.
I went here to experience the German menu, as recommended by a friend. I misread their website and thought that their Oktoberfest menu was available, but it wasn't available on the weekends. There were 2 waitstaff and the owner/manager and it was not very crowded, but the service was incredibly slow. We waited quite a bit before our drink orders were taken, then again for our food, and then that took quite a long time. Not sure what was holding things up. I did enjoy my meal and thankfully, it came out hot after the long wait. The rest of my party was happy as well. I drink pretty slowly and I was able to finish my 16 oz beer and never was asked if I wanted another. Hmmmm...there is outdoor seating, but it is primarily for tables of 2, so that stinks. I would recommend this restaurant, but be prepared for long waits (unless this was unusual).
