Semkeh - Broad Channel

Really the best in Brooklyn! We get take out nearly every week it’s so good. Their kebab platter is excellent, the chicken is grilled to perfection, the salad and humus is super fresh with herbs veggies to garnish. If this place was a restaurant, I would dine there all the time!

I was waiting for my food and for some reason they decide to pressure wash the ground while customers are sitting there? Where’s the common sense? They got my shirt all muddy, thanks a lot. The two people sitting next to me couldn’t have a conversation over the extremely loud pressure washer. Food was mediocre mostly because the pita was stale. My food came out later than people who ordered after me. Not a great first impression!

Got a large order of fries to go to catch a train. Later realized they were a day old fries. Smh. They heavily seasoned to hide from the stale taste. Ended up throwing it out.

Great little place with some nice Mediterranean food. Hummus wrap was good and the fries cooked perfectly. Iced tea was really good too! They don't have indoor seating, but have a nice little outdoor area, so be careful if it's cold and you want to sit down

Short: the food I got here was is 2/10 I got the shawarma fries (chicken), and the shawarma platter (chicken). Overall it was incredibly disappointing considering the rating, and price of this place.
