I seated myself at the bar and was promptly attended to. I ordered a Victoria Secret cocktail, and it was refreshing to see the bartender take his time to craft the perfect drink. It turned out to be light and enjoyable. For my snack, I went with the guacamole and chips. While it wasn't anything extravagant, the portion was generous, and you could definitely tell it was made fresh. While I was there, I bumped into a friend who ordered the mac and cheese and the "sexy cow" tacos. When the food arrived, we both grabbed forks. He loved the mac and cheese, but for me, it fell flat—it tasted like something from a boxed mix. I guess my southern roots give me higher expectations for mac and cheese. The hard-shell tacos were just okay; they weren't anything special, but they definitely hit the spot after a few drinks. Overall, I would definitely return. The drinks were great, they have a full bar, the waitstaff was fantastic, and the vibe was pleasant. While the food didn’t blow me away, I have no complaints about it either. I’m looking forward to coming back for the relaxed atmosphere and those delicious drinks—it's a perfect after-work hangout spot.

We tried the nachos and spinach artichoke dip, and they were delicious. Even though there were three of us, we were completely full after those. - The music selection is fantastic; you’re guaranteed to enjoy a great playlist throughout your meal. - Outdoor seating is available, which is wonderful on nice days or if you just want some fresh air with your food. **Cons:** - I was not a fan of their drink menu. It seemed overwhelming, and I personally didn't enjoy the flavor options. However, their bar is quite extensive, so I recommend asking for your favorite drink instead. - The food prices are a bit steep; it seems unreasonable for an appetizer to cost as much as a main dish, although the generous portion sizes somewhat justify the cost. - The seating in the booth area is in poor condition—some of the couches have holes and show signs of wear, which makes it uncomfortable to sit on. - Our service was neither bad nor particularly good. We had multiple servers, which isn’t an issue, but when they aren’t on the same page, it can lead to confusion. Despite this, all our servers were friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a fun spot worth visiting, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.

I recently discovered a fantastic Mexican restaurant called Sexy Taco while browsing Yelp, and I'm so glad I did! Wow, what a gem! There was one person managing everything—bartending, serving, and cleaning—while maintaining a positive attitude and providing quick service. I'm usually quite particular about my dining experiences, but this place really exceeded my expectations. Great job, Antonio!

I think this will be my spot!!!! I was drawn to this place for my need to have a few beverages of the Mexican sort, so this will be more of a drinking review rather than a food review. Upon entering the restaurant, I thought this place would be great or a hot a mess. I am so glad that it was the former rather than the later. The bar seems like a cool place to hang out with some friends or to make some new ones (I am new to the area). The people with whom I spoke to were very nice (perhaps, a couple were a little too nice). Athena, the bartender, was really great/energetic and you can tell that she knows how to get the party started. She always made sure that I had a full beverage, and she even got me a welcome to the 'hood shot. I had a minor issue with the chips and pico salsa that I ordered. I found the salsa was a little bland. Like I said, this was a minor issue and definitely will not deter me from returning. Hell, I may go there tonight for a few drinks. This definitely is a place where you will go for one or two drinks but end up staying for a few hours.

This was one of our stops in our night of debauchery with classmates. We were all pretty hungry after the previous stop, and one person in our group suggested this place. I was not going to say no to tacos, so here we came. It was a few blocks of walking from where we were, which served well in sobering up a bit. When we got here, I noticed it was busy, and I was not sure they could accommodate us as were were a party of 10+. But alas, they worked their magic, and we were seated in short order. I ordered some chicken and beef tacos. My classmates ordered a variety of plates, some of which can be seen in my photos. The wait for the food was long, but was expected as we did come in a large group spur of the moment. Once we got our food, we were delighted at how good it was. My tacos were delicious, and much needed after having the two potent drinks from the prior establishment. My classmates were happy with their plates, and I had the pleasure of trying some of them out. Once we were done, we got the check and coordinated the payment (thank goodness for Venmo). We liked this place, and we're appreciative that they accommodated us where other establishments wouldn't have. Thanks for the great service!
