Gordy's Burger House - BRONXVILLE

I love the burgers here. Very friendly staff. The onion crisps are sinful.

The beer is served cold, and the food is delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. They were willing to accommodate my preferences without any issues. The bar is located separately from the dining section, making it a great spot to enjoy a drink and watch a game, or have a meal with the family. Overall, it's a fantastic place to dine or have a relaxing evening.

We all had bugers and wings. Several choices for bugers cooked your way. Sweet potato fries were amazing. All drinks were $1 refill so she brought us two pitchers of ice water. A bit pricey but absolutely delicious.

My kids wanted to eat here, I had eaten earlier so I just had the apple pie, they said it was the best cause it was home made...... Only the apple was missing

So I was craving a REAL BURGER... I wanted to try something different. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the burgers are served on a huge toasted kaiser roll. It felt a bit uncomfortable since I'm married to a black man everyone in there was predominantly Caucasian, but they stared at us I couldn't make out some whispers comments by customers. 2 female waitresses and almost every table was taken, but the servers were clearly in over their heads. They have a bar, but no one can make a daiquiri, kamikaze, mudslide or any other type of fancy drinks I love. After placing our orders we received my food which was lacking the additional topping I paid extra for. $2.00 Cheese $2.00 Onions $2.00 for mushrooms. Then I gave it redone and my onion strings were delicious, the burger was tasty, but I only had 2 bites. And then they packed my food to go, which I asked them to just bring me a box. And I guess the waitress wasn't thinking once again, Because now I left out of the restaurant with a piece of a bit Burger. The other half of the Burger was thrown out and then my onion stroils was thrown out also so I was really upset when I got home and I wanted to finish my food and there was nothing in there. I did call I spoke to a waitress. She knew who I was, and she told me to come back in and that she would fix it. But they're literally an hour away from where I live so I think it's a done issue!!
