Panera Bread - Brookfield

They decided to clean the vents while making food during open hours while serving customers food made right next to this. And there was a lady with a baby at the table right under it. No one even asked her to move. She just started scraping the dustballs debris off into the air as it was floating all over kitchen and the lady with her baby. My husband went to speak withthe manager, the person at the front said there was no manager and argued that it was 2 feet away from the food. Which isclearly not the case. That area by the ladder is the food prep, and window area. Bad management, dirty, disrespectful anddisappointing. Would not recommend.

After a messed up order we noticed a worker scrapping the air vents above the kitchen where dust was falling all over the floors and possibly food surfaces in the cooking area. After complaining to the workers at the front they said she's far enough away soit's ok and it's not getting in the food. If you can see from the picture she is clearly in the food prep area making a mess. DONOT COME HERE

Got my order wrong and then seemed upset. Next sandwich had a cold slice of cheese and eggs that were still cold in the center. May have just been a bad time to stop, but it was only experience with the chain. Won't be returning.

I scheduled a client meeting here at 3pm on a busy Packer Sunday, intentionally, knowing that a Panera would not be busy, 3pm not being a busy mealtime. There were 3 other guests in the restaurant. Every single table I looked at was dirty. The floor wasdirty everywhere. The staff was complacent and moved VERY slow, like they didn 't have a care in the world. Lids, cups, strawsunderstocked. Every counter surface dirty. Staff wearing sweatpants. I was embarrassed that I invited guests here. 3pm wasmore than enough time for staff to have recovered post-lunch rush. There was nobody in line ordering food, but this staff didNOT care what the eating area looked like. In the hour I was there, not one of the 3 employees came out to clean tables (inspite of me mentioning it) or sweep/vacuum, to reset for the impending dinner rush. I wiped down 4 tables near me and picked upgarbage off the floor, just to make my immediate area look less dirty for my guests. This was not a very busy or understaffed problem. This was a staff doesn 't care problem.

I aways enjoy Panera Bread. This location holds up to its reputation. My children love the mac-n-cheese. I like soup and bread. No matter if the bread is a bowl or sandwich, it is all good. On cold days, don't forget the hot chocolate.
