Decent Mexican spot. Came here with a friend on a Friday night and got seated right away. We ordered the Guacamole and Chips, which was made to order. It was actually really good, definitely the best part of the meal. I ordered a Chicken Burrito, which was fine. It was very big and filling though. Glad we got to checkout this place.
This restaurant has really cute decor and a cozy interior. We ordered the guac and chips to start and it came in a huge Mexican mortar and pestle. Guac was excellent but definitely could be more spicy since we asked for it to be spicy. We were also given a side of salsa but didn't really eat much of it since it tasted oddly sweet. For entrees, my boyfriend ordered the molcajete norteño and he said it was flavorful. Steak was tender and shrimps weren't over cooked. I got the chuleta mexicano and thought everything was good, except that the pork chop was over cooked. Rice and beans were solid. I recommend you all check out Marias as the food is good, but service is even better. Great for a weeknight dinner because service is so quick. Note that they will charge if you use a card it was about 4% of my bill.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn, and I must say my party and I were extremely disappointed in the quality of the food during our visit. We ordered our favorite dishes, tacos de pescado, Al pastor and chorizo tacos. The fish was not fresh and tacos were stale and falling apart. We were also disappointed to see Grade Pending. We will not be recommending nor returning until Maria 's cleans up their act.
Had the Brazino freakin Amazing Highly recommend! Awesome atmosphere and the drinks are spiked full of alcohol
