Myrtle Thai - Brooklyn

Missed my flight so came staying with my friend who lives around the corner and had a craving for Thai food.The pad thai was amazing, on the slightly wet side but it was all good. Everything you want for a pad thai was there.Staff were friendly and helpful.

This place deserves all the stars. Food is super tasty. We had chicken Panang Curry for the third time now.Food: 5/5

Yum! All in all pretty tasty food.I did not enjoy the summer roll however. It was served with fried tofu chunks on top of the roll NOT an ingredient within the summer roll! Ok not the end of the world. But when I pick up a piece of roll it falls apart because its actually one roll cut into 4 pieces... so 2 middle pieces have no bottom...just open-ended tubes of mostly lettuce with basil. It was disappointing because it felt like I was served a kitchen mistake salad instead of a summer roll .Flavor was good, but Finesse, Details Consistency matters too.

The food is pretty standard for a Thai restaurant, but what adds insult to injury is the chive pancake. 6 small pieces for $8 is not worth it, plenty of other options around. I prefer National.Food: 2/5

First I want to say the food here is great. It’s the service sucks. I’ve been here a few times and the svc was ok…. Nothing to rave about. But this evening was the straw that broke the camels back. As I’m sitting there enjoying my meal with my family one of the staff members walk over and place the check on the table while we’re still talking and having drinks. Why? I don’t know because I didn’t ask for it. Once this happens we’re turned off and we’re ready to go. I go to the front and I pay the bill. On my way out the rushes over and told me the tip wasn’t included and that I should fix that. She didn’t even ask why. It’s safe to say we will NEVER come back here. We felt unwanted and rushed out.
