Extremely High charges with average food test and Service... I had some guest at my place so I took them to Azafran for Dinner. We were total 4 Adults and 2 Kids (5 years Old and 2 years old). In the starting we were the only customer so we got good service and the moment other customers started to come we were struggling to get proper service. On top of that I finished my dinner and as it was weekend evening and rush there I paid my Bill and rush out. After reaching home I checked my Bill and found out that almost 20% gratuity added to my Bill. According to my understanding gratuity applied for 6 or more but when i contact them they said in Azafran it is applied when there are 5 or more. and all 5 should be of 5 or more in age. My daughter is just 5 year old and both my kids had ruffly eat anything, when we reached the whole restaurant was empty and the lady told us to seat anywhere we are comfortable and when I ask for this gratuity , I got answer that you seat on a table which automatically add Gratuity. If this is a case then they should inform us because no one will know this rules. At the end even though I was not happy with their service and it was they who told me to seat anywhere I was forced to pay $32 gratuity.

Start to finish this is our go to for an outstanding date night! Wine tastings are incredible! I’ve also experienced wonderful business lunches as well as treating our daughters to family dinners. Azafran is delicious. Unfortunately the night we went they seemed a little short staffed which slowed down service. The slow service however didn't impact anything more than taking food and drink orders. The appetizers were delicious and so were the mains. All around fantastic food and we'll definitely be going back. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
