Today was my first and last visit. My husband and I were seated near a trash can and the bar. The bar was a dumping place for dirty glasses. We orderd the Titipuchal for 2, and it was cold. The chicken was very dry, fajitas were tough, and the mollejas were old. I stayed away from the mollejas, but my husband ate them. On the way home, he got food poisoning, so we had to pull over. The food tasted as if it had been sitting there all day. It was also overpriced for what we received.
Nice ambience, retro music, unusual pre meal snacks and sauce. Had the mahi mahi tacos. The fish tasted very fresh and the pieces were large. There were no veggies or other accompaniments, just tacos.
Had an absolutely wonderful meal. Our group of 10 enjoyed the whole experience! Personally I recommend the La Troje namesake, superb!
The place is small so when I ordered my food I had to wait outside. The waitor and waitress or host didnt look very happy when knowing I was going to take out instead of dinning in. They both had a disgusting look on their face like 'I really don 't want to help this customer. ' The food was expensive, at least I should had gotten a table of courtesy for waiting. Finally the hot sauce was awful. Bottled water is probably hotter than their hot sauce. So the truth my experience was not that great.
