Au Coin Gourmand - Brussels

I ordered a Chateaubriand with a glass of red wine. The portion was huge, big piece of meat, good French fries and sauce, however I would have appreciated more sauce than what was given. Quantity of meat was just average, I expected more. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, I was sitting next to the fireplace

Some of the dishes were good but the paella royale was disappointing and fairly tasteless. It was a pleasant place. Our waiter was distracted by a football game on TV or seemed impatient with us. Would not go back or recommend.

Perhaps the best steak ever superb! Highly recommend the Chateubriande, you will not be disappointed. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The food was good. Entrecôte was perfect and large. What let it down was the service, we booked for 8pm arrived slightly before and our table was not ready. They gave us complimentary drinks and took us to the unused upstairs area to wait. We were called after 10 mins. All ok but then the bill came and the complimentary drinks weee charged and also a glass of wine that we didn’t have. Good job I checked the bill. Left a bit of a sour taste as it seems they were ‘trying it on’

Maybe the best steak is really great!
