Dam Site Inn - Brutus

Our server, a courteous young man, was exceptionally pleasant without being overly attentive. He promptly explained the menu and brought our drinks right away. We ordered the famous chicken, which was delicious! For dessert, we shared a crimson cake, which was fantastic but a bit on the pricey side. Ron, our waiter, was one of the best I've ever encountered. We ended up chatting quite a bit before we left, and he provided us with interesting details about the restaurant's history, the owners, and when it first opened. We will definitely be returning!

I would give it a little over 3 stars. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very simple and laid-back, making it a perfect spot for a family-style dinner. I would definitely return.
