Avaliação da contribuiçãoIn the quest of trying out some local Romanian food, I visited this place. For the Vegetarians, most of the options were in the sides but there were a lot of options for Non-Vegetarians. I ordered a couple of side dishes like rice and veggies which tasted fine. Bread was served complimentary.
The food itself was really good, home-made taste. 10/10 Just keep in mind that they only take cash payment!!! The atmosphere though is a hit or miss. I loved it. If you want something nice, cute and classy avoid this place : it has a rural, home-ish, traditional vibe. Don't expect anything fancy. It feel just lilke grandma's house in the country side, I personally loved it. (also beware of the museum smell, if you're sensitive to that . However, I can't give it 5 stars because it seemed like not all the options on the menu were available. It was kinda annoying not being able to pick what we wanted. The waiters were also not the best. We ignored it, thinking that maybe they were having a bad day. But it's still something to improve on. Another thing is clealiness, they could pay more attention to that. There was no problem with the food, but the place itself could do with some dusting. Overall, I'd go there again for the food (hopefully all options available and vibe, and with some improvements this place would be simply amazing!
Very poor service, only one girl for all tables. Despite they organized an event with special menu, they weren't prepared for that menu. We had to wait about 1 hour and more before the first course to be served and another hour or more to be served with mititei, they should have it prepared already. Very low quality of dishes. Too bad.
Suuuuch à good ciorba à la grec! So so good. Exactly what I needed. And the desert, I forgot the name, ut was the 1st time I ate that (semolina balls with cream and jam, not far from papanaşi) ...Paradis The interior ambient brings me to an old traditional house, but I feel it's a little bit left aside...unfortunately. I would have loved finding a real romanian atmosphere because the food is so good!
If you are looking for authentic Romanian dishes, THIS is the place to go. Everything is how it should be: atmosphere, service and food. Couldn’t recommend La Copac enough when in Bucharest
