Garcia's - Buda

The cheeses Enchiladas were small and filled with processed cheese! Processed cheese chips melted at the top. It's horrible. The chips were good, but not the salsa. Also a mandatory 4% charge, unless you pay cash. I understand that times are hard, but that's not a way to run a restaurant business. Spend for better ingredients and maybe people come back and spend more. It won't go back.

Poor service. Got my order wrong, when I mentioned it, no offer to fix it. By the way still waiting for my drink... can we have some napkins and silverware since we didn't order finger food... the chips where good and the salsa was hot. So little blessings. Seems if you personally know you your good, if not (been here 5 time's) you will wait even after table's seated well after you.

Wonderful little quaint lunch spot. Portions were wonderful and staff was quite enjoyable as well. Over all quality experience ??????. Got the steak smothered in Nortena sauce and tortilla soup. Soups good.

Chips were good, Salsa was just red tomato sauce,.. Could have put more effort in making the food better. I ordered green enchiladas. My enchiladas were raw still. I don?t ever leave reviews but this is not mexican food. This is fast food mexican.. I wish i could have liked it since they have a lot of reviews. It needs more flavor.

I didn't know Buda had a Garcia's until the other day. It's over there on old Main St. Back in the 70ies that was all there was of Buda..: Anyway, I was coming back from Austin today and decided to stop in. I just beat the lunch run. They have inside seating but we're having such a mild July, that I just sat outside and pretty much had to myself. I had the Mexican Dinner which was only a little over 10 bucks. The food took almost no time to arrive. The wait staff was friendly and fast with the chips and sauce . I don't drink but if you do, the place is a BYOB, according to the sign..: I parked across the street in the parking area to be on the safe side, because all the parking around the place goes to other businesses and the other reason is if you park in front, then you have to back out into on coming traffic.
