Rustico Étterem - Budapest

We stumble over this restaurant as we wanted to eat some Hungarian food on a Sunday afternoon. the restaurant is located on a very commercial and tourist area however eating is great and the prices are very good. they had live music to entertain. fresh delicious food and amazing desserts. we definitely come back to this place when we come back to budapest. really the best experience of a lot of Hungarian food.

Tasteful goulash, friendly waiter and traditional Hungarian interiors and what else do you need? The price is a little above average, but it was worth it.

We had a table on New Year's Eve with a group of 8 Sandra was our waitress, she was one of the reasons why we had a good time! Food was really delicious, but a little too cold We had a bottle of wine and our glasses were constantly refilled The Vilolin player was sometimes a bit too loud, but it was funny. Price was ok service fee included

We really enjoyed eating here, but the portions were quite little for a steeper price. Customer service was really good and the food was very delicious. Overall really good, but felt abit like a tourist trap lol.

The food and service were outstanding. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, when it came time to pay they offered for me to tip, and I shook my head and said it’s okay. So he entered a tip for roughly 10%, of his own accord. Very possible he misunderstood me but it left a bad taste after an otherwise wonderful experience.
